I know that in several cases (*Cough* Telescience *Cough*), I said that we shouldn't simplify certain aspects of the station. However, now that we switched over to TG code, for better or worse, I am making this (sort of) one exception on my overall policy.
In short, Chemistry sucks now and I want some of the old ways back.
Let's be honest here: I think many loyal Apocalypse members have grown used to the Bay code for Chemistry, with Tricordrazine, Dexalin, and other recipes. Our sudden, unanticipated switch to TG has implemented somewhat radical (To a Bay user) changes to chemistry. In particular, the additions and removals of chemicals are a somewhat jarring experience, which is compounded by needed temperatures for several ingredients. The loss of Tricordrazine has also made treatment in general somewhat of a headache.
Basically, I think we should consider possibly re-adding some of the more familiar formulas, or something...

In all serious though, yes, I do like the older way Chemistry was. Having only played with it a bit, it seems that there are a LOT more intermediary steps between start and finished product. Perhaps some sort of middle ground, where certain chemicals can be loaded back into the dispenser once they are made, sort of like how research levels in the Research department allow for higher level of items to be printed as the round progresses. That, and gimme back my TriCord.
