So I'm sure everyone has seen that, occasionally, a round will be grinding to a halt. Either there are no antags/trolls ruining the round, or they've been taken care of, and then a dozen or two good, Ian-fearing crew members are milling about, having already secured and supplied their offices and others, without much of a true objective to encourage coordination, interaction, and FUN. So, let me offer:END GAME CREW OBJECTIVES
About an hour or so into the round, a NanoTrasen message will broadcast to the crew informing them that a special away-mission shuttle needs supplies. This shuttle may or may not be accompanied by a NanoTrasen Requisition Officer to facilitate stocking the shuttle. This shuttle requires items that would be considered "high level" items that can only be produced with teamwork and multiple departments running at a good clip. Items such as high level foods and drinks, medications, high-tech R&D equipment and weapons, genetically modified seeds or produce, anything that can be made really. These will require the crew to be focused, collaborative and, in some instances, go outside their comfort zones and learn new departments to fill in if there are vacancies. Time limit optional, and if the crew can provide everything that is needed, special rewards can be provided (to be determined as appropriate). This could also lead to the resurgence of away missions; if crews can collaborate to gather the materials sufficiently fast, NanoTrasen can replace the original away crew with SS13's crew, leading to guided missions requiring establishing a base, fending off creatures, and exploring for rare and useful materials.
Of course, that's all HELLA BULK programming, but I'd love to see something that gets the whole crew to come together all at one time, communicate, and do a big group project together, rather than holing themselves in their offices and departments, only coming out to deal with catastrophes.

Genetic data cards don't exist anymore. At least IC'ly.
Also exact listings for shit that's supposedly undeveloped research seems off. Why not vaguer directives like: 6 Advanced weapons 20 meals Highly [variable] modified seed packets Etc
Also inb4 nettles and baldy clown captain.
For stuff like viruses maybe the shuttle could drop off X number of random viruses and other things first, leave, then comeback later expecting its order of X vials of antibodies for each virus.
If SMES could be made unwrenchable and moveable the same could be done for them.
Extra stuff could result in greater /bonuses/.

I always thought about that, how ERT has advanced energy guns which should be experimental. But hey I don't make the rules

Hypospray isn't really experimental It's used here and now in fact Mostly for mass vaccinations of soldiers and such

I always thought about that, how ERT has advanced energy guns which should be experimental. But hey I don't make the rules In my personal headcanon, deconstructing stuff is to be able to make them through the protolathe/3D printer. Everything was built by hand/assembly line. As for the idea, this would seem better as an event than an actual game mechanic. Granted, it would still be nice to have some of the things already pre-set up, but most of the work would be mapping the away missions.

There's no Peridaxoline in the code, huehue.) i was just operating under the assumption that peridaxoline was some sort of strange mix of peridaxon and inaprovaline ALSO SHH DONT INTERRUPT MY CIRCLEJERK ABOUT PERIDAXON TAKING SLIGHTLY LONGER THAN ANY OTHER CHEMICAL TO MAKE
