This post is here to help inform anyone making a Moderator or Administrator Application. The points I mention in this are to be taken into consideration when applying for Moderator or even Administrator.
• Do not use Polls. Polls are there for the community to agree or disagree on something that is important; i.e. a change to the current rule set, not whether or not you should be a Moderator/Administrator.
• When writing your application, remember to use proper punctuation. A poorly written application will be considered either as you not trying your best, and wanting to have a joke, or as a waste of our time. If you do try your hardest, we will notice it, by going off your current history with the server.
• Explain yourself so we know you, and why you wish to join; keeping your history from us is a bad way to begin. Let us know if you have been banned, if you have received a warning (If you remember). By trying to hide information like that from us, it will lead to you being seen as untrustworthy, and nothing is worse than wanting to help others, and been seen as untrustworthy.
• Make it personal, this does go off of my last point, but it is still important. If you make it personal, you will be received better. Use manners, be kind, and work off of any feedback given to you by any Players, Moderators, and Administrators.
Some mistakes that you may make, or encounter:
• Not filling out your application completely, remember to re-read, spell check, and fix any mistakes made. You don’t want to make a mistake and leave the Staff puzzled as to what you meant.
• Miscommunication: If you aren’t clear, and right to the point, it can lead your application to go on for an extended period of time, and create confusion.
Don’t do these:
• Do not ask an Admin or Moderator to look at your application, you may tell others that you’ve applied for it, but that is it. If you go around asking an Admin or Moderator to look at your application, it will be seen as you advertising your app, and it is very frowned upon.
• Do not get angry in your app, there is nothing worse than you getting hot-headed and having a fight with an admin on your application, which will most likely lead to it being denied.
• Do not lie about information; we have ways of finding out your past on other stations. Lying will get you in serious trouble, and denied.
Moderators
• If you like just helping players and answering questions for others, it's a better option that you apply for Moderator, as their main use is to be of service to the community as helpers. Moderators are also there to assist Admins when needed, if they are capable of assisting an Admin in the first place.
• Moderators are there to act as watchers, and report people they see breaking the rules, to Admins. They are not an Admin. They can't ban people or handle grief, but they must report it.
Admins
• Admins are the guardians of the server, they enforce and uphold the rules. They have a VERY IMPORTANT role which is VERY SERIOUS. Do not apply for Administrator if you are doing for jokes and giggles. The work they do is serious and it must be done in a serious and professional manner.
• Admin work is very stressful, if you cannot handle stress and a weight placed upon your shoulders, then you shouldn't be looking at being an admin. Admins face many situations where any normal person would be aggressive; admins must always keep their cool.
